Some 200 odd years ago colonists representing the nations of the Astoreian Confederacy and the Vorshim League travelled from their home world of Stratopeia to the largest moon in their sky, Vraxis. Their objective was to master the harsh winds and endless sands of the desolate planet and put its weaker gravity to good use for the processing of Vokrium gas.
During the early years of this operation, a game was devised by colonial engineers to pass the time during the frequent debilitating sandstorms. It was a simple game, one that only gave back to the player as much strategic challenge as the player applied to it. Five or six incarnations and a generation of addicted players later, the game presents itself to us as a sophisticated yet accessible pastime.
When pressed for hints about mastery of the game, Vraxians will smile and offer you only four words: “Perception. Attraction. Connection. Resolution.”
